Create basic mail merge files that are used in conjunction with patient correspondence searches to produce personalized letters.  Also, create patient data files that can be merged with MS Word 2000.

Communications package used for electronic billing purposes.

Activate the windows calculator.  This may be useful while posting patient and insurance payments.

Backup your Herfert Software data files.

Remove any deleted records from the data base files and re-sort the index files to clean-up the Herfert data files.

Install updates to the Herfert system.

When starting a new year, use this option to initialize visit numbers and insurance deductibles for each patient's active claim.

Works like a search and replace on data files.  An example of when to use this would be if you wanted to change the insurance billing forms for all of the insurance companies from form 6 to form 3.

Translate data from the DOS version of Herfert Software to the Windows version of Herfert Software.
