This feature is a huge time saver for a high volume office.
Patients can Check-in and Check-out using a KIOSK.
The KIOSK allows patients to check themselves in or out. The patient will need to type a unique PIN or type their name. Once their name has been found, the patient can check themselves in or out by clicking on the appropriate button.
If the patient clicks on the [Check In] button they are automatically marked as “in-office” on the appointment schedule. The order of their arrival is also recorded. If the patient did not have an appointment scheduled, they will be marked as a walk-in.
After a patients has completed their visit they click on the [Check Out] button. Their visit will automatically be recorded with the appropriate services, patient financial responsibility, care plan renewal, etc. They will also be marked as “out-of-office” on the appointment schedule.
